President & CFO, Terreno Realty Corporation
Co-founder of Terreno Realty Corporation a San Francisco based publicly traded real estate investment trust. Mike was also the CFO and Executive Vice President of AMB Property Corporation now Prologis, Inc. (NYSE:PLD). He was a member of the Investment Committee at AMB and was responsible for capital markets, accounting, tax, information systems, dispositions, valuations, risk management and financial planning groups totaling more than 130 officers and associates in five countries. Mike is a Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of DuPont Fabros Technology, Inc. (NYSE: DFT), a leading owner, developer, operator and manager of wholesale data centers headquartered in Washington, D.C.
Don Sturek
CTO and Co-founder, Grid2Home
Co-founder and CTO of Grid2Home with more than 20 years experience in the software design of IP, mesh networking and wireless protocols and products. He has been an active member IEEE, ZigBee, Blue tooth and ISA, holding key chair positions. He is actively involved in ZigBee in defining the next generation standards for Smart Energy. Don formally co-founded Figure 8 Wireless, which developed the original ZigBee stack and was acquired by Chipcon and then Texas Instruments.
Matthew Jacobsen
Ph.D. Candidate at UC San Diego
Pursuing a degree in artificial intelligence. He currently holds a BS degree from UC Berkeley and a MS degree from UC San Diego. Recent internship positions at Microsoft Research and Google X have explored large-scale distributed systems and machine learning problems. Prior to his Ph.D. work, Matthew worked in the technology sector of the San Francisco Bay Area for 8 years. He has worked as an enterprise software engineer, technical architect, and consultant at large corporations and startups.
Michael Thomas
Global Strategic Partnership Executive
Michael is a strategic alliance, channel sales and business development leader with a proven track record of leading global organizations to build high impact partnerships. His primary objective in the Advisory Board role at Wireless Glue Network is to actively in develop key partnerships to increase technology integration, global joint solution development, delivery and go-to-market to greatly enhance our customer value and delivery capabilities. In previous roles, Michael was VP Global Partnerships at Polycom (2010 -2011), Director Strategic Alliance and Partnering organization at Cisco Inc. (1996-2010) and Director of OEM sales at Alcatel-TITN Inc. (1985-1995). At Cisco, he developed and executed Cisco's two largest Strategic Alliance partners, IBM (1996-2001) and HP (2002-2009).
Kapi Attawar
VP Alliances and Channels, Oracle
Kapi Attawar has over 20 years of high technology international executive experience. He spent the last decade running International Marketing and Alliances for various high technology companies including Hewlett Packard where he managed e-Business markets with key top tier ISVs for their Unix business. Mr. Attawar also held several executive positions in marketing, sales and consulting in North America, Asia and Europe with Hewlett-Packard. After 13 years at HP on different continents he also headed marketing and alliances for a couple of small startups as well as Sybase and IDS Scheer before joining Oracle as Vice President of Alliances and Channels. Prior to Hewlett-Packard, Kapi spent six years with Rover Cars and Vickers Systems in the U.K., introducing breakthrough computerized and MRP technologies into the manufacturing and supply chain processes to increase efficiencies.
Andrew Green
Energy Consultant
President of his own energy advisory firm, Mr. Green has over 25 years' experience and expertise in the energy industry with a full range of knowledge in energy supply and demand management. Mr. Green designs energy strategies for commercial, utility, and government markets and has successfully designed, developed and implemented efficiency, renewable, on-site power and demand response solutions. He has held management positions with Duke Energy, Pacific Gas & Electric, Navigant Consulting, Aeris Communications and numerous US Dept. of Energy funded programs. Mr. Green was awarded "National Energy Manager of the Year, 2006" by the Association of Energy Engineers and the "Early Adopter Innovator Award, 2007" - for Automated Critical Peak Pricing and Demand Response.
