ZCC2420-U firmware for serial communication enables one to simply plug in a dongle to a PC on two opposing sides, and send data wireless over a secure virtual COM port.
ZCC2431-M with HA firmware is fully compliant to the Home Automation Profile of the ZigBee Alliance; with addition of simple components, the module can be used as the core of a wireless switch or load/light device. The module is radio-regulatory compliant for a variety of markets, and so creation of a ZIgBee Home Automation device is as easy as adding a few buttons and a battery. Our HA firmware features E-commissioning (as in "easy" button press installation); using the HA device in conjunction with our ZCC2420-U dongle and GSF host middleware, it is a snap to build a complete home automation control system.
Featuring the super energy efficient electronic paper (e-paper) technology, the Ad-Hoc Information Display (AHID) is a small-form factor, battery powered wireless information display for both text and graphics. The superb readability of the e-paper provides a wide field of view and requires no backlighting; written information remains on screen as long as there is no rewrite. The combination of battery power and e-paper allows the AHID to display content up to six months with a single set of batteries. Display refresh rate is approximately 15 seconds, and thus two to three refresh per minute is possible, wirelessly, multi-hopped and broadcast. AHID leverages all the advantages of ZigBee network and e-paper in an ergonomic package. Using the ZCC2420-U and GSF allows a creation of information server - display client wireless meshed content delivery system.
The AHID forms the hardware platform basis of the Smart Energy In-Premise Display (SE IPD) device. The SE IPD is fully interoperable with all the Energy Service Portals (ESP) of a Smart Energy / Intelligent Grid system of your public utility. The SE IPD has been tested for full interoperability with all the electric, gas and water utility meter gear from major manufacturers through ZigBee Alliance's interoperability testing program. The SE IPD is the basis of a fully secure, battery powered advanced wireless display system for energy conservation.
